Mooji is a Jamaican spiritual teacher. His story is amazing. After his sister was shot by police, an incident that led to one of England’s most serious race riots in 1985.
Mooji discovered the writings of Indian gurus. A disciple of an Indian teacher called Sri Harilal Poona, he set up his ashram in the southern hills of Portugal and welcomes followers from around the world. He holds retreats and gives talks. He has a unique style. His talks are like public therapy sessions. Addressing individual issues and giving his feedback.
His huge appeal is attributed to his ability to make people feel like they really matter. “To sit with him, they say, is to be at peace.”
